Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 packet unflavored gelatin
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1½ cups strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Paul’s Bourbon Balsamic
- 1 teaspoon sugar for the berries
Method
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Warm the cream, milk and sugar in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and bloomed gelatin.
- Divide among six small glasses or ramekins. Chill for at least 4 hours.
- Toss the strawberries with one teaspoon sugar and Paul’s Bourbon Balsamic. Spoon over the panna cotta just before serving.
Pour it with Moscato d’Asti DOCG.
The wine’s soft sweetness and delicate sparkle meet the creamy vanilla while the bourbon balsamic adds just enough depth.
