The Stage was just the beginning
Playing with one of the most iconic rock bands I grew up listening to was an experience that defied description. I vividly recall witnessing their live performance in Buffalo back in 1976. If someone had informed me then that I would one day share the stage with them, I would have laughed and exclaimed, “Are you high?” (To be honest, we probably were.)
The journey was exhilarating—performing to crowds ranging from 4,000 to 55,000 fans each night, staying at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton, touring in million-dollar buses, and living the dream with substantial financial security.
However, the subsequent ending was equally intense. Despite the challenges, I persevered through grit, reinvention, and relentless hard work, eventually finding my way forward.
